Dear 29er Enthusiasts,

I hope this email finds you all safe and well. The International 29er Class has shared information about the registration process for Open Worlds and European Championships. Registration opens this Friday, with payments due in early May.
See “What to Expect” attachment. The class has released the Notice of Race for the Worlds with the intention of opening entry on the 9th April.

The International class has announced 2021 29er Worlds in Aarhus, and Europeans in Valencia, will not be cancelled and will remain open events with unrestricted participation unless they are required to do so by the host country. But, in the unexpected scenario participation limits are imposed, organizers must have a contingency plan which is why each nation has been asked to provide a ranked list of teams that intend to enter the Open World Championship Regatta in Aarhus, Denmark.
We don’t think a national ranking system serves the US class at this time, so we will rank only teams intending to enter the Open World Championship or European Championship regattas in 2021. With a committee of 3 people we will use a combination of your 29er regatta results and your narrative, to rank teams based on the information you give us. We will provide a 1-time ranking by May 15.
After you renew your class memberships and register for the regatta(s) please visit this google form to announce your intention, so we know to rank you.
Note in order to be considered:
1. Both members of a team must be current members of the US 29er Class: US Class Registration:Join US 29er Class Now
2. Both members of a team must be current members of the International 29er Class:International Class Registration:Join Int.29er Class Now
